Plan Now – Enjoy Soon

Even smaller projects such as this front entrance and planting bed deserve some insightful forethought and planning.

This front-of-the-home landscape design really helped to communicate to the homeowner just what we intended to do for the layout of the plantings.

As it turned out, it was a really good thing to do.  Our customer was so happy to have some input into plant choices and placements.  It really helped them feel it was “their own”.

The plan originally had an evergreen shrub on it that the homeowner said they didn’t like, so we changed the plan to accommodate that preference as well as a couple of other tweaks.  There were also some favorites and requests of the homeowner that were incorporated into the final layout.

Then, knowing exactly what size and variety of plant was on the plan, we could figure the proposal out very fairly.

It didn’t take long to go from an initial consultation meeting to the final installation of this project since it was a relatively small job and did not require any permitting, but keep in mind that the design was all part of the process.

So, no matter the size of your project, consider having a plan done.
