This was a fun project! These folks are just moving into this home, and want it completely done so that they can enjoy it right away.

To start things off, the low deck was constructed. Then we did the veneer on the side of the foundation wall and put in some granite steps and wrought iron railings. The paver patio is to be at the same level as the deck, because our customer has a mobility issue and can’t traverse too many levels.

We then installed a paver walk to the front door, going along a new stone retaining wall and the paver walk extended along the side of the house, and then granite steps descend to the patio. The beach sand was embellished, and the pavers extend from the patio to the dock.

There is no grass in this landscape to mow! Shredded Bark Mulch covers the septic field, and the rest of the area is planted. Large Boulders help to mark the edge between the beds and the driveway area. Finally, all of these beautiful plants were installed. What a difference! Now, everywhere you turn, there is more and more beauty! This place really says “Welcome Home”.

Testimonial

“We recently purchased a home on Lake Waukewan in Meredith for our retirement home. The outside of the home left a lot to be desired, as we spend a lot of time outside. I met with Tom and became comfortable with his knowledge of both hardscape and landscape and the necessary permitting and most important how he carried himself. The scope of the project completely changed the outside area with decking, paver patio, walkway, granite steps, retaining walls, and over 150 plantings by Martha along with a very nice beach area.
All of the tradesmen who were working on the project were very skilled in their respective crafts. They were a pleasure to work with. The project came in on both time and budget.
We will be most comfortable having Tom on our team for all future projects.”
